Hospital

I am going into hospital this afternoon for surgery and will be in for at least six days. I won't be able to post anything til I come home and even then, I will be tender.
I am hoping to get lots of cards and things made as I have a 6 week recovery time ahead of me and I reckon by that time I will be able to add my pictures to my blog.

We are a Happy Team at Hawthorn

We won, Hawthorn won the Grand Final. I still can't believe it!
The Hawks beat the Cats by 26 unbelieveable points. DH has watched the replay in some form or other every day since.
What a team!
DH and DS6 went to Glenferrie Oval on Sunday with 20,000 other people including my Dad (who they did loose, though not intentionally) and partied with them all.
DH wants a new shirt, hat and stubby holder
DS6 wants everything brown and gold.

I Think I'm Famous

I keep forgeting to tell you. The Wendy House has been published! I was asked if I would be prepared to have a story written about me and the Wendy House for the Spotlight publication get creative. They were doing an article about women and their sheds and they were looking for creative sheds. And I was asked if I would participate. How could I say no to a request like that. The editor came and met me and the Wendy House and was thrilled. The article had three other sheds in it including the famous Dale Rollerson from the Thread Studio. It was a big honour to be asked.
Anyway, its now out on the stands as it's in the September issue. Check it out. It's got some great other articles in it,but of course mine is the best.

Male Cards

I have fnally done it. Loaded pictures onto my blog. A lion has escaped from the cage and been unleashed.

This is the card I gave my Dad for his birthday in August and I'm pretty impressed with the card. It's one of the new stamps from StampWorld in Sydney and even though it's blurry, I think it looks ok.

I've made another one for him for Father's Day, but I don't think it will make the blog this year. Just let me get use to this photo business and I'll see what I can do for next year.

P.S. Did you see Buddy on Friday night? He kicked 8 goals and Hawthorn are thru to the Preliminary Final in two weeks. Go Hawks.
